Global Outreach

God says, “Serve the poor.” Love them, live with them, fight for their freedom. So we mobilize hundreds of people to build relationships and meet needs. And God shows up. We believe we can make our best impact by deeply investing in a few global initiatives.

Trash Mountain Project

The Trash Mountain Project is a nonprofit organization that was founded after a trip to Tegucigalpa, Honduras in November of 2008. While filming a documentary about families living in the neighboring trash dump community, Access Church members Brett and Jaelle Durbin felt a call to completely focus on raising awareness for children and families living in trash dump communities throughout the world.

In addition to traveling to these communities for the purpose of ministering to these families and making disciples, they also film documentaries of varying lengths. These documentaries are used to raise awareness of the needs within the trash dumps as well as to track progress and capture the stories of changed lives.

John and Brandi Carrano

Spain is a beautiful country. It is known for towering buildings, rich art, cultural history, phenomenal food, and strong economy. From the outside, Spain is perceived as an enviable and self-sufficient country, but behind this facade it’s a very dark place spiritually.

John and Brandi are honored and excited to be working with Young Adults through campus ministry. Please join our church in praying for John and Brandi as well as the nation of Spain. We are believing with them for open doors and creative avenues of effective and life-changing ministry.
