Derek & Em Shackelford
Pastor Derek and Em Shackelford are the location pastors of the Access Church Bartow Location right in the heart of Downtown Bartow, Florida. Before coming to Bartow, Derek and Em planted and pastored a church in North Florida and saw countless lives transformed by the gospel. Together, they are blessed with three beautiful children, who are a constant source of joy and inspiration in their lives.
The Access Church Bartow Location launches in March 2025, and will continue, as Access Church’s newest location, to be a place where people take their next step in their relationship with Jesus.

Are children's services available?
Yes! Kids from birth – 5th grade are encouraged to attend Access Kids, where they’ll enjoy
age-appropriate games, music, stories, and small group time. You can check your children in
our Access Kids lobby.
What similarities does this location have to the other Access Church locations?
We really are one church in three locations! If you’ve attended any of our other locations, you can expect the same experience.
Worship is the same. Access Kids is the same. The message is delivered by live simulcast, so even that is exactly the same. Access Groups meet all over the city. Our friendly team is the same. Even the smell in the building is the same!
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. While a t-shirt and jeans is typical, some people like to dress it up a bit. 👍
Where do I park?
When you arrive at the front entrance, follow the parking signs. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before services begin.
