SUMMARY

The role of the Location Worship Director is to oversee the worship and production culture, leadership, and execution of an Access Church location under the direction of the Worship Pastor and Location Pastor.

This person will help build healthy teams, create meaningful worship environments, and develop leaders while carrying the mission, vision, and values of Access Church and Access Worship.

The ideal candidate has the heart of a pastor, the mindset of a builder, and a passion for developing people and creating environments where others can encounter Jesus.

• Works well within a collaborative staff culture
• Minimum of 2 years experience leading worship, production, or creative teams
• College degree or equivalent ministry experience preferred

• Champion the vision, values, and culture of Access Church
• Promote the unity of “one church in multiple locations”
• Protect the health, unity, and spiritual culture of worship and production teams
• Lead with humility, honor, and a servant-hearted attitude

The Location Worship Director is a Team Builder

• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop worship and production volunteers
• Build healthy systems and sustainable team structures
• Identify and develop future leaders within teams
• Lead rehearsals, team nights, and leadership development opportunities
• Provide coaching, encouragement, and accountability to team members
• Communicate wins, needs, and ministry updates with staff leadership

The Location Worship Director is a Worship Leader

• Lead worship regularly with excellence, authenticity, and pastoral awareness
• Prepare worship sets, arrangements, and service flow aligned with Access Church culture
• Partner closely with production teams to create distraction-free environments
• Help facilitate worship nights, conferences, and seasonal events
• Maintain a passion for reaching people far from God

The Location Worship Director is a Shepherd

• Pastor and care for worship and production volunteers
• Foster a culture of discipleship, growth, and spiritual maturity
• Build relationships with team members on and off the platform
• Encourage excellence while leading with grace and truth
• Help people discover purpose, ownership, and growth within the local church
• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by the Worship Pastor & Location Pastor
