The perfect fit for this role would be someone who values people and authentic relationships but sees purposeful processes as necessary strategic tools for effectively assimilating new members with excellence. This role is equal parts people-facing on Sundays and administration and process throughout the week.

The Next Step Director’s job is to create and facilitate systems and environments that encourage and help people take their next step in their relationship with Jesus. This position has direct responsibility for Team Access teams that provide many of the first experiences new members will have with the church. The Next Steps Director is responsible for working with other departments to ensure new attendees are integrated into the church.

• Must exemplify a high level of passion for sharing the vision of Access Church
• A deep desire to meet new people and help them connect
• Facilitate ongoing training and coaching for volunteers
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Ability to use Google programs, Planning Center Online, and CRM Software
• Works well with a team
• Can be an independent worker and self starter

RESPONSIBILITES

• Help create a welcoming culture for a first-time guest
• Recruit and inspire people to serve in Next Steps Team and all of Team Access
• Oversee the systems and processes that track a guest from their first visit to full integration
  into the life of Access Church.
• Oversee and bring leadership to all of the Next Steps teams – Champion team culture!
• Support, train, and resource all Next Steps teams
• Oversight of Scheduling, both team and registrations for Baptism and Next Steps Class
• Serve as the primary point person for the implementation of Baptism, Next Steps Class, and 10 Minute After Party.
• Communicate weekly with the Next Steps Pastor
• Balance tasks and the relational aspects of the role
• Lead the day-to-day operations of the ministry
