Our lead pastors
Jason & Lis Burns
Dr. Jason and Lis Burns are the founding and lead pastors of Access Church in Lakeland, Florida. In 2007, Jason and Lis started Access as a college Bible study in their living room with 15 friends. Today, thousands of people in Central Florida call Access Church their home.
Jason and Lis have three children and live in Lakeland, Florida. Jason recently completed his Doctorate in Ministry though Southeastern University and Lis is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in ministry degree.

Next Steps Class
Next Steps Class is designed to help you to discover your redemptive purpose and live the life God created for you. This class is made up of two sessions that equip you to:

Session 1
In session 1, you will learn the heart, vision, and values of our church.
Session 2
During session 2, you will learn all about your unique gifts and how you can use them to make a difference.
You can RSVP to attend either session of Next Steps Class right now using the buttons below. Next Steps Class starts on the first Sunday of every month.

Don’t worry, we have the perfect place, where every kid is seen, known, and loved! Each week, we provide a safe, clean, and fun experience for your entire family!
Common Questions
When are services?
Every Sunday at 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, and 12:00 PM. Services typically last one hour and include live music and a message from one of our pastors.
Where are services?
Our address is 4303 S. Florida Avenue, Lakeland, Florida 33813. We’re right by Staples on the south side of Lakeland.
Where do I park?
When you arrive at the front entrance, follow the parking signs. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before services begin.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. While a t-shirt and jeans is typical, some people like to dress it up a bit. 👍
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week – and at Access Kids, we make this a priority. Their time includes games, fun music, stories, and small group time.
Access Kids is offered at every Access Church service for kids newborn through fifth grade. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Access Kids experience. (If you pre-registered your kids, we will have that information ready to go!)
Middle and high school students meet at Access Youth every Wednesday from 6:30–8:15 PM. At Access Youth, we have music, a message, and small group time where students can grow with their peers.
