Luke 10:30-31 // In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.”
- Good intentions don’t heal broken people; obedience does.

- Being near suffering doesn’t automatically make us servants.
- Compassion requires more than awareness; it requires action.

- Love that interrupts.
- Love that sacrifices.
- Love that acts.
- You will either make an effort, or you will make excuses but you will always make one.
Luke 10:35 // “The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper.”
Matthew 20:28 // just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
