- News = what has been done

John 3:16 // For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
- Peter’s foundation: “I love Jesus.”
- John’s foundation: “Jesus loves me.”

- When you fail, do you run from Jesus or to Jesus?

- Mercy - Not getting what you deserve
- Grace - Getting what you don’t deserve
- You don’t have to get it together to get to God. You get to God to get it together.
- It’s not earning God’s approval. It’s accepting Jesus’ sacrifice.
