Every Thought Captive – Guarded by His Peace

2 Corinthians 10:5  //  We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ

Romans 12:2  //  Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

John 14:27  //  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid

Philippians 4:6-7  //  do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

• Biblical Peace is not the absence of chaos it is the presence of Christ.
• Peace comes when you cast your worries

Philippians 4:4–7  //  Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:7  //  casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

• “Peace doesn’t come when problems leave it comes when control is casted.”
• Peace grows when you control your thoughts

Philippians 4:8–9  //  Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

• If your peace depends on what you have, it will always be fragile. If your peace comes from Christ, it will always be stable.
• Ships don’t sink because of the water around them; ships sink because of the water that gets in them.
